PINK SUSHI is a Dubai-based fashion designer with a quirky imagination she strives to fuse arabian kitsch with hip harajuku inspired street fashion and conjoins them into new experimental non-conformist fashion trends! Her label was developed to twist the norms and feed daring emarati-ans with a hunger for eccentric avant-garde one-off designs. Her main source of inspiration is the pink energizer bunny cause it keeps going and going and going furthermore her fine arts degree in graphic design propelled her to expand into fashion design.

her vivacious homebusiness is registered under the trade name PINK SUSHI with the Dubai Economic Department and is stocked within the U.A.E & Saudi. The ghitra i.e the red n white patterned scarf traditionally worn as headgear by men in the middle east dominates her creations, whether its woven into a fabric rose or crafted into a cushioned heart this signature fabric is stamped upon everything she weaves thus shifting the ghitra outoff its normal habitat and creating an impact by replacing it outa its box. PINK SUSHI goodies have been termed by clients as playful, eccentric, daring, energetic, different and definite show stoppers. Her label's amo is influenced by bright neon colors, eighties cartoons, rainbow bright, her lomography photoshots/ polaroid transfers, her mom's vintage emroidered tally jalabiya`s, tasty rolled bite sized sushi rolls, grocery stores aka Baqaala's, arabic candy wrappers/typography, her grandfather`s windtower house, plastered sticker books, souk alarsa in sharjah, souk okath, camden market in the uk, the old dxb fruit/vegetable market and vintage flee markets.

ACHIEVEMENTS TILL DATE Featured as talented Local designer on Siobhan's fashion show on Dubai Eye 103.8 FM, JAN 05, Sourced in American Travel + Leisure magazine, Participated in the PRETTYFIT & MSF fundraiser "ART & SOLE Project" entailing a one-off customized pinksushi shoe to be auctioned for charity.
